NLMK Group, an international steelmaking company, has completed a follow-up audit of its management systems in the areas of environmental protection, occupational health and safety, and energy efficiency. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the British Standards Institution (BSI) conducted the audit online.
NLMK Ural and NLMK Kaluga, part of NLMK Russia Long Products Division, have been awarded Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certificates for rebar. EPD certification will boost the competitiveness of NLMK products in Russian and international markets.

The Mercy (‘Miloserdiye’) Charitable Foundation, NLMK Group’s charity partner, is to allocate 500 million rubles to support the regions in which the Company operates in containing the spread of the novel coronavirus COVID-19.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, all NLMK Group employees over the age of 65 in Russia have been asked to stay at home.Employees of an advanced age have the choice of working from home or taking a paid vacation or quarantine leave until 30 April 2020. The end date could change, based on how the situation develops.
